Inspiration of the day


I found this photo about two years ago (I think it was in Marie Claire Idees),

and it’s one of those photos that get stuck in your mind.

Apart from the great idea, I love the colors, the patterns, the variety, the sparkle in the packages.

One of the good things of dealing with a serious illness in the family is that you learn to appreciate life, people and time.

It sounds like one of these cliché quotes, but it’s true.

Since my mother got sick I gave it quite some thought and I realized how crucial it is to appreciate what I have. I don’t take anything for granted anymore, and I pay much more attention to the small things of every day life.

Small things like spending Christmas with people I love.
